Field & Form

Product labels say natural, clean, and pure with no standard meaning behind any of it. Field & Form rates everyday products on how close they stay to where they came from, with a published methodology, human review on every rating, and no placement to buy.

[01]THE PROBLEM

Shoppers want to buy better products, but most ratings systems are noisy, inconsistent, or influenced by placement. Field & Form needed a public platform that could make its methodology feel trustworthy from the first visit.

[02]THE BUILD

A full ratings ecosystem with a public methodology, product pages, mobile access, brand certification, local discovery, and an internal review office. The important part was not just publishing ratings; it was making the whole system feel independent, reviewable, and hard to game.

[03]OUTCOME
  • The public site gives shoppers a clear reason to trust the ratings
  • The admin workflow lets the team review products without losing editorial control
  • The product, mobile, certification, and local-discovery pieces all run from one foundation
  • Customer flows, billing, and privacy are checked before release

Field & Form started from something personal: I try to eat the least processed food I can and keep harmful products out of my home, and I wanted other people to have that same clarity without it feeling like a lecture. The hard part wasn't the idea, it was building a grading workflow that could actually be trusted: real data from verified sources, scored consistently, with nothing published on a guess. Doing the business and the build myself meant I could hold that line the whole way through, instead of the standards slipping the moment it needed to ship.
