VENTURES — COMPANIES THE STUDIO OWNS
INDEX: 02 LIVE
Built here.
Run here.
Tate Development builds and operates companies of its own. This is the studio's main work: each venture a commitment to an industry, run with the studio's name on the outcome and its own revenue on the line. Everything else the studio does grows out of these.

Why a studio runs its own companies
The main work
The studio was built to run companies, not to sell hours. The ventures are the point: customers, revenue, and a name answered for every day. The rest of the work orbits them.
One venture, one industry
Each venture plants the studio inside an industry for good. Eureka put it on the royalty owner's side of oil & gas; each new venture opens another.
Judgment with consequences
Every recommendation a client hears has usually been paid for here first, tested in the studio's own companies, where a wrong call costs the studio its own revenue.
[03] OPERATORS—
Ventures pair with operators.
The studio designs, builds, and maintains each venture's product. Running the company day to day is a different job, and it belongs to someone who knows the industry from the inside: its customers, its people, its rooms. If that's you, or you know the industry where the next venture should exist, the conversation starts with an email.
