DOCTRINE — STANDING POLICY

Believe it.Build it.Build around it.

The studio runs one discipline. Its own companies run on it, and when it fails, it costs the studio first. Everything below is standing policy; it applied before any client existed, and it applies to every build the studio takes.

[01]

Nothing is built without conviction.

The first decision on any project (the studio's own or a client's) is whether it should exist. Belief means evidence, not enthusiasm: if the conviction doesn't survive the diagnosis, the project doesn't start.

RECEIPT — THE STUDIO HOLDS ITSELF TO THIS FIRST: VENTURES THAT DON'T SURVIVE VALIDATION NEVER GET BUILT, AND NEVER GET NAMED.

[02]

Diagnosis precedes scope. Always.

What a business needs is a finding, not an order form. Scope, price, and timeline all descend from what is actually costing trust, time, or revenue, never the other way around.

RECEIPT — IT'S HOW THE STUDIO ENTERS ITS OWN MARKETS: EUREKA EXISTS BECAUSE A DIAGNOSIS OF ROYALTY STATEMENTS SHOWED MONEY BEING LEFT ON THE TABLE.

[03]

One number, in writing, before work.

Fixed, tied to the outcome, quoted once. If the goal changes mid-build, the change gets its own number, in the open. The studio absorbs its own inefficiency; that is what a fixed number means.

RECEIPT — THERE IS NO HOURLY RATE ANYWHERE IN THE STUDIO: NOT FOR PROJECTS, NOT FOR SUPPORT, NOT FOR ANYTHING.

[04]

Progress is clickable, not narrated.

Work in progress is shown as the real thing (pages that load, flows that run), never status prose. Judgment happens by using the work, the same way the studio judges its own.

RECEIPT — REQUESTS, PROGRESS, AND BILLING RUN THROUGH A CLIENT PORTAL THE STUDIO DESIGNED, BUILT, AND OPERATES ITSELF.

[05]

Nothing ships unchecked.

Before anything goes live that people will depend on, automated checks deliberately try to break what matters most. If a single check fails, nothing ships.

RECEIPT — BEFORE ANY EUREKA RELEASE, THOSE CHECKS ATTACK THE WALLS BETWEEN STRANGERS' FINANCIAL RECORDS: SIGN-IN, CROSS-ACCOUNT ACCESS, BILLING.

[06]

Shipped is when it starts.

The studio treats what it ships the way it treats what it owns: run, watched around the clock, improved month over month for one flat fee. Where exclusivity applies, a territory stays fenced for as long as the work stays under care.

RECEIPT — THE 2 A.M. CHECK THAT GUARDS A CLIENT'S SITE IS THE SAME ONE THAT GUARDS THE STUDIO'S OWN COMPANIES.

[07]

Everything stays portable.

Clients own their domains, their content, and the work. Staying under the studio's care is a choice renewed monthly; retention has to be earned, not engineered.

[NO] THE STUDIO DECLINES—

What the yes is worth starts with the no.

  • 01HOURLY ARRANGEMENTS, IN ANY FORM
  • 02REBUILDS THE DIAGNOSIS DOESN'T SUPPORT
  • 03TEMPLATE WORK WEARING A CUSTOM PRICE
  • 04A SECOND CLIENT INSIDE A FENCED TERRITORY
  • 05WORK THE STUDIO CAN'T BELIEVE IN — WHATEVER IT PAYS

[01] NO PACKAGES—

Every engagement is bespoke.

There is no menu. Every engagement is scoped from zero against the diagnosis, and no two proposals look alike. The proposal is a document about the client's business, not a brochure about the studio: what's costing them, what the studio would build, and one number. Most people learn something about their own company reading it.
